where the King and Queen are celebrating the end of the war.

What is included in your night?

01. Immersive RPG

From the moment the Guards open the doors you are transported to the Kingdom of Silverpeak. The festivities are announced by the King Allomere and you are invited to dance the night away!

Something happens, the night is thrown into turmoil! All the action happens right in front of your eyes. You will be left to figure out what is happening, talk to the King, the Queen and anyone else who might know something. Collect tokens, take on challenges and solve the mystery!

02. Learn to Dance

Have you ever wanted to join a royal court dance, spin around and bow to the crowd? This Royal Ball has just that! As part of your ticket you are invited to a traditional dance class hosted at the Hamra Library on the evening of July 16th.

This Dance is the traditional dance of the Kingdom and taught by the wonderful team at the Australian Traditional and Bush Dance Association of South Australia and provided by the West Torrens Library! Dance lesson details will be emailed to you along with your ticket.

03. Royal Nibbles + Tasty Potions

Enjoy delicious potions from all over the lands with bubbles, sweetness and all the perks to keep you dancing all night!

The Banquet will be laid with fresh nibbles to entertain and delight. Enjoy a range of canapes and desserts fit for a King. The menu will be available closer to the date, vegetarian and gluten free options will be available.

04. Photo wall Magic!

Our Royal photographers will be wandering the hall to capture all the reactions, laughs and gasps as you experience what the story will bring!

Don’t forget to stop at the Fantasy Ball Photo wall and pose for your own Royal portrait. The lights, vibes and props will be ready for you and your entourage to capture the best night of your life!
These photos will be delivered digitally after the event.

Explore the Story

Collect tokens

Each Character you meet will have tokens to earn. Will you ask them the right questions or bow to their majesty? Everyone has their own motives and fears, if you befriend them you may learn more than you were ready for...

Dig up family history

Read the letters, break the locks and put the clues together to find out what really happened during the war. What happens in the palace may be more dangerous than you think!

Compete for the Chest

As per tradition the kingdom chest will be fought for by all those worthy! Filled with spoils and treasures, anyone carrying the chest can be challenged at any time to ye old rock, paper, scissors. The winner keeps the chest and the challenge continues! The champion holding the chest at the end of the night will find out what is inside.

It's up to you

The kingdom has always valued the peoples choice, whether kind or cruel, evil or good the people decide how the story will end. Be prepared to decide things that would make a King crumble. This world needs you, will you discover enough to make the right choice? Will your friends choose the same...

Introducing your Royal Court

King Allomere

Ruler of Silverpeak and loyal King. Deeply admired by his citizens for bringing an end to the war with Shadowvale

Queen Isadora

Isadora rules as equals beside her husband. They are known to never leave each others side, an example of true love.

Prince Coryn

A bold and understanding young man. He has spent his life fighting for peace and justice in Silverpeak.

Seer Calliope

The Court Seer and loyal mage to the King. Brought into the palace from a young age, she knows of magic older than Silverpeak.

Where is the Ball?

The Historic Woodville Town Hall and it’s incredible ballroom will blow you away.

The Woodville Town Hall is located at 76 Woodville Road, Woodville – a short drive from the Adelaide CBD.

Parking

The car park behind the venue and civic centre is free. It is available for venue parking during weekends.
The car park across Woodville Road from the venue is free and a mixture of restricted and non-restricted parking. There is also ample free street parking surrounding the venue.

Public transport

Woodville Town Hall encourages the use of sustainable transport where possible.
The venue is conveniently located on major bus routes, the outer harbour greenway for cycling, and 150m from the Woodville Railway Station, utilised by both the Grange and Outer Harbour trains.

Frequently Asked Questions

What will this performance involve?

Strong lighting effects will be used during this performance. Smoke effects, sword fighting and loud noises will also be featured. Patrons that may suffer from epilepsy & other visual/light/sound stimulation effects are advised to contact the Front of house staff, prior to entering the Ballroom.
There may be points in the story that involve the doors closing, at no point in the event are the exits locked

How old must I be to attend?

Attendees of The Royal Ball must be 16 or over on the date of the event.

Is there Alcohol available?

Due to the nature of the performance and the safety of all attendees, this event will not have alcohol available. Any BYO drinks will be confiscated and those acting under the influence will be asked to leave.

Do I have to dance to attend?

No! This is just a bonus option to heighten the immersion of the experience.
